Hello! welcome to our home
My name is Christienne Dobson and my little family here consists of my husband Chis and our little dog Suki. I'm a designer at heart, I've always loved making and creating all kinds of things, and this beautiful old 1800's farmhouse in upstate New York is my current canvas. We always have something going on, whether it's renovating a room, working on the garden, whipping things up in the kitchen, or watching our animals run around there's always something to keep us busy.
I was pretty excited about this find! I randomly search online for information about our house and the people who lived here. My search suggests that we are the fifth family to occupy this home, with Edna Georgia Benedict and her husband Howard being the second. Edna, an accomplished photographer, captured numerous photos that serve as valuable documentation of life in and around Meredith, NY. The incredible photo below circa 1904-1925 shows what is now our present-day living room.
